Singapore Construction Safety & Consultancy Pte Limited (SC2)
Singapore Construction Safety & Consultancy Pte Ltd (SC2) was established in 1993 as a not-for-profit subsidiary of the Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL).
The main purpose of SC2 is to safeguard people, property and the environment.
SC2's other objective is to channel its surplus funds derived from its operations to the industry to promote and improve productivity, education and welfare of the workforce and the industry in general.
Combined together, SC2 auditors have audited more than 2000 organisations and projects, and trained more than 10,000 managers, professionals, engineers, supervisors and operators.
Although SC's main focus is in the construction industry, we have accumulated considerable experience in the shipbuilding and ship-repairing and manufacturing industries.
Since its inception in 1993, SC2 is the only local safety auditing, consulting and training company that works pro-actively towards strengthening the ties between the authorities, the employers and employees for the overall improvement of safety standards at the workplace.
During 2008 SC2 in partnership with Woodland Grange will be offering the NEBOSH International General Certificate and Diploma programmes.
