ISO14001 success for Woodland Grange

Woodland Grange has retained its ISO14001 certification for the 6th year. This internationally recognised standard relates to management systems that control the impact an organisation has upon its environment, and covers such issues as minimising waste, the use of raw materials and energy, reducing pollution and improving efficiency.

Eugenie Hales, venue manager at Woodland Grange, said: ”Environmental responsibility is a fundamental part of our ethos. The very nature of our business means that we have to take great care to ensure we have as little impact on the environment as possible. Many of our initiatives are tiny steps towards a greener planet, while others are group-wide initiatives.”

Like all of EEF Venues, Woodland Grange’s sustainable approach includes reducing, recycling and re-using, encompassing everything from food waste management to energy efficiency.
